Secret “Spa-Shopper”
Time and cost saving Onsite workshops. Increase bookings, improve therapist techniques, build morale and guest satisfaction
Lynn Clemons is a licensed massage therapist with over 20 years of teaching experience. She is an NCBTMB Approved Provider of Continuing Education (Provider #1001889AP). Her experience, credentials, and creativity allow her to create and teach a curriculum and workshops that allow massage therapists to maintain their licensure. She is available to travel to spas to provide on-site training for massage therapists.
On-Site Training Program
Clemons offers an on-site training program for massage therapists that spa directors and managers love. The program is customizable and may include incognito evaluations of therapists as well as interviews with spa guests. Clemons' evaluations are point-based and cover a variety of topics including, but not limited to:
Use of multiple hand techniques, therapist posture, self-care, safety, communication skills, and ability to regulate pressure.
Clemons believes that guest feedback is important, so she conducts discreet interviews with guests about their massage experiences. During interviews, Clemons asks guests specific questions about the massage modality they received as well as questions from the spa directors and managers.
With the information obtained from the evaluations and guest interviews, Clemons creates a customized workshop designed to help therapists improve their skills, and client communication which results in guest satisfaction and improved revenue.
Additionally, Clemons creates new treatments and designs the training and curriculum submission to NCBTMB for continuing education. This on-site training allows therapists to obtain the necessary continuing education credits to retain licensure.
