AyurvedicKANSA WAND FOOT TREATMENT

$250.00-2 Days

NCBTMB- 11 CE’s

The Kansa Wand Foot Treatment is a unique and relaxing foot treatment rooted in Ayurveda. According to Ayurvedic wellness practices, the feet contain energy points called Marma points which regulate energy and vitality. Therapists learn to use a special wooden tool called a Kansa Wand, which has end caps made from bronze. It is believed that stimulating the Marma points with the tool along with specific oils can change the PH of the skin while releasing blocked energy. The treatment results in a balancing of specific energies within the body known as Doshas. This treatment aids in balancing the doshas for optimal energy release. Treatment also includes foot massage and lymphatic drainage techniques to maximize the immune response and aiding in relaxation. Many people find that the Kansa Wand Foot Treatment not only relaxes their feet but also promotes a sense of calm and balance throughout their entire body. Practitioners will learn the benefits and contraindications of this Ayurvedic treatment, review location of Marma Points, as well as the history and use of the Kansa Wand.
